Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies HighEndDIY uses, why they are used, and how visitors can control them.

Effective date and last updated: July 20, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser when you visit a website. They can help a site operate, remember preferences, understand usage, and deliver or measure advertisements. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, web beacons, local storage, and advertising identifiers.

2. Cookie categories

Names and durations can change when providers update their technology. Google describes current examples in How Google uses cookies.

3. Essential technologies

Essential technologies may remember a privacy choice, protect forms and infrastructure, prevent abuse, or support basic delivery. They cannot ordinarily be disabled through our consent interface. Blocking them in the browser may impair Website functions.

4. Analytics technologies

If analytics is enabled, it may help us understand readership, navigation, browser compatibility, and tool performance. Where the law requires consent, analytics storage remains disabled until consent is given. QR payloads and uploaded logo data must not be sent to analytics services.

5. Advertising technologies

Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve contextual or personalized advertisements, measure impressions, limit frequency, remember advertising choices, and prevent invalid activity. Personalized advertising is used only where permitted and after consent where required.

6. Manage your choices

When optional services are active, use the Website’s “Cookie Settings” or “Privacy Choices” control to accept, reject, or revise optional categories. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing performed lawfully before withdrawal. Google advertising preferences can also be changed through My Ad Center.

7. Browser controls

Interfaces may change, so consult the browser’s official help center for current instructions. Clearing cookies may remove saved preferences, and blocking all storage can prevent some features from working.

8. Updates and contact

This policy will be updated when cookie categories, providers, or purposes materially change. Questions may be sent to help@HighEndDIY.com.
